A Guide to Make Calls from Hong Kong Cell Phones


For North America Users


• To receive or make an international call in Hong Kong:

When calling overseas from the United States to your Hong Kong cell phone number callers will need to dial 011 852 followed by your Hong Kong cell phone number. To call the United States or Canada from your Hong Kong cell phone simply dial 0011 followed by the area code and phone number ( alternatively, press +, country code, area code and phone number ). 

• To make a call to a landline Hong Kong number:

Simply dial the number.

• To make a call to another Hong Kong number:

Simply dial the number. 

• Use a different outgoing prefix to save on international calls: 

Dial 0060 followed by country code, the area code and phone number if you use PCCW mobile prepaid SIM card. If the SIM card you purchased from a different network, please check out its outgoing prefix for saving on international calls.

For Users from Other Countries


• To receive or make an international call in Hong Kong:

When calling overseas from your country to your Hong Kong cell phone number callers will need to dial international outgoing prefix and 852 followed by your Hong Kong cell phone number. To call your country from your Hong Kong cell phone simply dial 001, country code followed by the area code and phone number. If you call a cell phone, dial 001 country code, followed by the phone number. For some countries, if you call a cell number,  you need to omit the first 0 just after country code. For instance, to call Australia mobile number: dial 001 61 4xx xxx xxxx.

• To make a call to a landline Hong Kong number:

Simply dial the number.

• To make a call to another Hong Kong number:

Simply dial the number.  

• Use a different outgoing prefix to save on international calls:
