China Mobile Phones Setting Up

IS there generic infomation abailable to configure china made phones. I am interested in phones on china vasion, but they do not offer technical support and I know from experence with my odessey phone that it needed full configuration and WAP set up.

Configuration information can be requested from your network carrier in Australia. Each carrier has different setting data.
For instance, gerenal wap setting is as follows:

Goto WAP, Settings, Edit Profile, Select a Blank Profile, Edit Profile
Rename Profile:
Homepage:
Data Account:
Connection Type: HTTP (enter Proxy Address: , Port: )
Username & Password:

GPRS Setting: Goto Services, Data Account,and set the following:
Account Name:
APN:
Username & Password:
Authentication Type: Normal


The above missing data should be provided by a local carrier.
