- To receive or make an international call in China:
When calling overseas from the United States to your China cell phone number callers will need to dial 011 86 followed by your China cell phone number. To call the United States or Canada from your China cell phone simply dial 001 followed by the area code and phone number. If you call a cell phone, dial 001,followed by the phone number.
- To make a call to a landline Chinese number:
Simply dial the number or add a city/area code starting with 0. If you make domestic distance calls, you need add the city/area code. If you are in other provinces, you need add the city/area code to call any landlines.
- To make a call to another Chinese mobile number:
Some Chinese mobile numbers require the addition of a 0 at the beginning, others do not. If you make a call without the 0 and it does not connect, please add a 0 and dial again.
- Add IP code to save on international calls:
17951 followed by cell phone numbers starting with 134 - 139 or 159; 17911 followed by cell phone numbers starting with 130 - 133

To call your country from your China cell phone simply dial 00 + country code followed by the area code and phone number. If you call a cell phone, dial 00+country code, followed by the phone number.
- To make a call to a local landline Chinese number:
Simply dial the number or add a city/area code starting with 0. If you make domestic distance calls, you need add the city/area code. If you are in other provinces, you need add the city/area code to call any landlines.
